Please join me in my studio! My studio doors will be open from Noon until 6pm as part of the Center for Emerging Visual Artist’s Philadelphia Open Studio Tours (POST). My visitors will get to see several of my works in progress along with finished pieces. Looking forward to sharing my “happy place” with you!

Nourishing Palette

There is something magical that happens when I surround myself with color.  Whether I’m in my studio or in my kitchen, there is a dance that occurs when mixing together the colors on my palette.  Immersing myself in the creative process allows me to release my deepest pain while at the same time express my deepest joy.

 

Nourishing Palette, my recent body of work, plays with the synergy between the colors I place on my canvas and the colors I place on my plate…both encompassing vibrancy and light and both nourishing me from the inside out.

 

Does food inspire my art or does art inspire my food?  The dance continues…

Dear Fleisher, 4x6 Inches of Art

Once again, I will be one of the artists from Philadelphia and beyond contributing two postcard-sized works of art in support of Fleisher Art Memorial's mission to make art accessible to all.  More than 700 pieces of artwork donated by 330 artists goes on sale to the public.  Each piece will be displayed anonymously until sold for $50 each.
